Special Salad

simple saladThis recipe is just that – special – the perfect pair to any meal, especially when you want to impress – yet so easy!

Makes 4 side servings (using about 1/4-1/3 cup vinaigrette)

Ingredients

1 (.6-ounce) package Zesty Italian dressing
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup water
1 (9-ounce) package romaine/leafy lettuce (about 6 cups)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted

Instructions

1. To make vinaigrette, whisk together package Zesty Italian dressing, vinegar, oil and water; set aside.
2. In large bowl, combine lettuce, Parmesan cheese and sesame seeds. Add vinaigrette (about 1/4-1/3 cup, tossing to coat reserving remainder in refrigerator).
